SUMMARY:Widows Evolving Monthly Gathering
DESCRIPTION:May Gathering Details:\nWidows Evolving will meet on Tuesday, May 26 to visit the Baha’i Temple in Wilmette. The tour will include access to the interior of the Temple, its gardens, a movie and information regarding the history and principles of the Baha’i faith.  We will meet for lunch before going on the tour which starts at 1:30.\n\nWidows Evolving is a women’s support group that exists to provide support and friendship to women who have lost their spouse. While we are not a grief group, we provide an atmosphere of hope and love through shared activities and relationships. This support group is for and by the widows of The Village Church of Northbrook and our surrounding community in IL.\nWe host gatherings that feature a variety of activities including: a monthly meeting that features a guest speaker on a relevant topic, various outings to local places of interest, or enjoying a meal at a local restaurant. We also have connection groups where members can choose interest groups such as happy hour, for enjoying time visiting together at one another’s homes; attending a concert or the theater; or playing a round of golf.\nWe regularly send emails, cards, and phone calls in order to meet our purpose of friendship for the community of widows in Northbrook and beyond.\nTo learn more about getting involved in Widows Evolving, please email our Office Manager.\nTo learn about other opportunities to get connected to the Village Church, check out our web page ( https://villagechurchnorthbrook.org/connect/#adults ).\n \n
