Sunday Lenten Dinner Series

For Lent 2026 the Village Church will gather to study: The Prayer Course II: Unanswered Prayer.

Following the success of the first Prayer Course, these five sessions go deeper, provoking honest conversation around the hardest and most personal questions we all ask about prayer. Following the companion book, “God on Mute: Engaging the Silence of Unanswered Prayer” the Lenten Dinner Series is split into five sessions which draw inspiration and insight from the passion narratives from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday. 

As in the past, each week everyone will come together for a meal at 4:30 p.m. in Westminster Hall. Childcare will be provided after the meal. Each week everyone will watch a video and have a short group discussion followed by breaking out into small groups for discussion and prayer. 

Every adult who registers will receive a copy of the book “God on Mute.”

Suggested donation for dinner is $10 per person and $25 per family.
