WE will gather for their monthly meeting on Monday, September 28th in the Fireside Room at 1:00 pm to hear special guest speaker, CPA Iffat Bosse, who will talk on financial topics of interest to the groups’ members and answer any questions. For more information, please contact Sandy Sinyard.

Widows Evolving is a women’s support group for those who have lost a spouse. We are not a grief group. Instead, we offer hope, friendship, and encouragement through shared activities and relationships.

We gather for a variety of activities. These include monthly meetings with guest speakers on relevant topics. We also enjoy outings to local places of interest and meals at local restaurants. Our connection groups offer even more ways to build friendships. Members can join interest groups for happy hour, concerts, theater outings, golf, and more. Some groups meet in one another’s homes to enjoy time together.

We also stay connected through regular emails, cards, and phone calls. Our goal is to build a caring community of friendship for widows in Northbrook and beyond.
