Because we are sentAs disciples sent by Jesus, we believe that generosity is one of the most powerful ways we join in God's mission every day. Jesus reminds us, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). He invites us to align every part of our lives, including our finances, with His mission. When we surrender even our resources to His work in the world, we experience the joy and freedom of being generous disciples who fuel Christ's work through our giving.

Stewardship
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:17
As Christ-followers, we are called to steward the resources given to us. Joining God's mission in everyday life includes the way we steward our finances. Each fall the Village Church asks for stewardship pledges in order to fully understand the resources and gifts that will be provided throughout the upcoming fiscal year that will allow us to pursue what we believe God has called our church to do for His kingdom.

Endowment Fund
The Village Church Endowment Fund was established in 1993 and since then has provided for the church in numerous ways. Imagine that your gift could last longer than a day, or even a year, that’s what our Endowment Fund ensures.
Each year the Endowment Fund provides for special projects outside of the regular church budget that may be a one-off occurrence, or something unexpected, like building repairs or media equipment, a photo directory or remodeling of the Atrium Lobby.
The nature of our Endowment Fund allows your investment to magnify the impact of your gift. While annual stewardship through pledges is an opportunity to support the day-to-day ministry of the church, a gift to the Endowment Fund secures stability of our church in the future.
