Widows Evolving

Instead of our regular Monday gathering, Widows Evolving will meet at the Village Green on Tuesday, July 28th for an evening of music and fellowship! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy The Yacht Rockets beginning at 7:15 pm. Look for our balloons near the path in the central area. We’ll begin gathering around 6:00 pm to claim our seating area as the children’s music starts at 6:30 pm. We hope you’ll join us!

Widows Evolving is a women’s support group for those who have lost a spouse. We are not a grief group. Instead, we offer hope, friendship, and encouragement through shared activities and relationships.

We gather for a variety of activities. These include monthly meetings with guest speakers on relevant topics. We also enjoy outings to local places of interest and meals at local restaurants. Our connection groups offer even more ways to build friendships. Members can join interest groups for happy hour, concerts, theater outings, golf, and more. Some groups meet in one another’s homes to enjoy time together.

We also stay connected through regular emails, cards, and phone calls. Our goal is to build a caring community of friendship for widows in Northbrook and beyond.
