Fall Sunday Dinner Series: Forgotten God

Forgotten God by Francis Chan
Rediscovering the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit

What if the greatest thing missing from our lives and our church isn’t something—but Someone?

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would come to live within His people, empower His Church, guide us into truth, and send us into the world as His witnesses. Yet it can be surprisingly easy to talk about God the Father and Jesus while giving far less attention to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

In Forgotten God, Francis Chan challenges us to rediscover the Holy Spirit—not simply as a doctrine we believe, but as the living presence of God who transforms us, leads us, empowers us, and calls us to live by faith.

Over five Sunday evenings, we’ll gather around the table for food, fellowship, video teaching, honest conversation, and small-group discussion as we explore what it means to become people who truly keep in step with the Spirit.

We’ll wrestle with questions like:

  • Who is the Holy Spirit—and why do we so often overlook Him?
  • What keeps us from depending on the Spirit?
  • What does it look like to have a real relationship with the Holy Spirit?
  • How does the Spirit lead and empower us to live differently?
  • What would our lives and our church look like if we were truly Spirit-filled and Spirit-led?

This isn’t about becoming experts on the Holy Spirit. It’s about becoming more available to God.

Come hungry—for dinner, for conversation, and for a deeper awareness of the God who is already present among us.
