Nature Walk at Ryerson

We’d love to see you for a morning walk at the beautiful Edward L. Ryerson Conservation Area on Saturday, August 9th!

We’ll begin with a brief prayer at 7:30 AM, and then head out onto the trails. Come a few minutes early to settle in and get ready. The trails include both wooded and prairie areas with packed dirt paths. Whether you prefer a slow stroll or a more energetic pace, there’s a trail for you—long or short. All are welcome who are able to walk (note: trails are not wheelchair accessible), and no special gear is needed—walking shoes are perfect.

Bring binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching, and don’t forget bug spray! After the walk, stick around for coffee and pastries as we unwind and enjoy the morning together.

Open to all—invite a friend and join us for a refreshing time in nature.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this forest preserve. See the LCFPD website for more information.

To register, visit the event page on Realm or contact Marie Luke.
