Worship Services

Contemporary & Traditional

Services

At the Contemporary service, you will experience a more casual atmosphere. Praise music is led by the Worship Band which includes guitars, keyboards, bass, synthesizer, and drums.

The Contemporary Service meets at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary. During the summer, the service meets at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary.

The Traditional worship service adheres to a Reformed liturgy including hymns, confession, responses, and prayers. The music is primarily led by the Village Choir and the organist, and may also include the bell choir and small vocal ensembles.

The Traditional Service meets at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. During the summer, the service meets outdoors in the Chapel in the Pines on the church campus at 8:30 am. In case of inclement weather, the service is held indoors in the Sanctuary.

Music Ministries

We are of one mind that through music we are often moved and stirred to fully open our hearts and souls for God to enter in. Our music groups exist so we can praise God and give Him glory. Singers and instrumentalists of all ages regard every opportunity for participation in worship as an important expression of their faith.

The Village Church enjoys many musical groups; and you are welcome to join at any time, for as long and as frequently as your schedule permits. You will find yourself among people who love all that is music: singing, ringing bells, and playing instruments. You will be welcomed with open arms.

Special Services

Baptisms

Parents who are members of the church are encouraged to present their children for baptism, anticipating that one day the children's baptisms will be confirmed when they make a public profession of faith in Christ.  Youth or adults who have not been baptized will receive this sacrament when they make a public profession in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and join the church.  Baptisms are normally held the third Sunday of each month. For more information, request information below.

Weddings

Many weddings have been held at the Village Church including ceremonies representing other denominations of Christian faith. Our Sanctuary is available for weddings as well as our Chapel in the Pines (outside area) is available during the warmer months. The wedding hostesses and staff will help you with each step that involves the church facility. For more details download the Wedding Information sheet or request information below.
