Village KidsRooted in Love, Growing in Faith
At the Village Church, we are committed to helping each child take the first steps on a life-long journey with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Village Kids (ages 6 weeks to 5th grade) a place where children can discover who God is through His stories in the Bible and grow in their personal relationship with Him.
In addition to the Village Kids’ Sunday morning programs, we have Kids’ Choir and Kids’ Bell Choir with musicals during the Christmas and Lenten seasons. We also offer family Mission Opportunities - times when groups of families come together to serve in the local community. Our largest community outreach, Vacation Bible School, has shared the Gospel with children in local communities for more than 20 years.
In-person Sunday school is available only at the 10:00 am worship service. There will be NO Kids’ Time. Check your child in directly to Sunday school at the tent outside the front of the church by the circle drive. Advance registration and a health check form are both required each week.
Register for Sunday School each week on Realm. Sign up for Realm here.
PARENTS - A HEATH CHECK IS NEEDED EACH CHILD BEFORE ALL EVENTS DURING THE PANDEMIC. PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR A GOOGLE FORM TO CERTIFY YOUR CHILD. THANK YOU!
We help each one of our 6th - 12th grade youths to know, love, and follow Jesus. And this life with Jesus, and for God's Kingdom, causes us to want to be the best neighbors to our Northbrook community. Therefore, we are committed to acts of service here in Northbrook, in the surrounding Chicago area, and around the world.
Being a disciple of Jesus is a life-long endeavor. Our Christian faith shapes our values, influences our relationship choices, and changes how we live. Each youth is encouraged to discover how they can join God's mission in their everyday life. We believe our youth can reflect God’s goodness right where they are — at home, at school, and in their community.
We want our youths to experience authentic relationships with each other and with their mentors here. Together we'll have fun, challenge each other, support one another, serve together, and walk through both good times and tough times with one another.
Additionally, 8th Graders are invited to participate in Confirmation each year between January and April. As for our weekly programs and for further info, please see below. Contact us for more information about anything you'd like to know more about!
