Hunger Resource Network and Sunset Foods are partnering to help feed Northbrook students and families in need. Come to Family Night at Sunset Foods on Sunday, March 12, from 4:00-7:0 pm to help provide nutritious food to many of the 400 middle and elementary school students who need assistance.
A list of non-perishable items for families to purchase will be provided. Each bag costs approximately $35, and it will take less than half an hour to buy the items. Volunteers will bag the groceries for distribution — the goal is at least 200 bags.
If you don’t have time to shop that evening, you can also donate $35 or more at the register and others will assemble the bags in the future. Donations are also accepted at hungerrsourcenetwork.org at any time.
