When we follow Jesus, we sign up for a life filled with unexpected twists and turns. We see this throughout the early church in the book of Acts as the resurrection ignites a set of changes, even within the disciples themselves. They were not only caught off guard by Christ’s resurrection but responded in surprising ways. As we look at these accounts in the book of Acts, we hope this series will stir within us a greater awareness of the Spirit’s presence as we, too, learn to expect the unusual from God.
