The life of discipleship is a journey that asks much of us as we follow Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is easy to be distracted by the world as it seeks to tell us what we need. Jesus, too, was on a journey as he taught about the kingdom of God and called people to follow him. In this next series, we look at some significant moments in Jesus Christ’s journey and how he was tempted to look for answers not from God. Therefore, as we look to Jesus and discover how he faced the temptations of provision, protection, prestige, and purpose, we’ll better understand how to deal with the temptations in our lives.
